Music Generation South Dublin is part of Music Generation – Ireland’s National Music Education Programme, initiated by Music Network, co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education and Skills and Local Music Education Partnerships.

The HUBS programme is a Music Generation after-school programme providing quailty affordable group lessons. HUBS musicians learn popular songs which are performed in a relaxed setting in 'JAMS' at the end of term. Classes begin mid-September and for 2 terms of 15 weeks each.

The very first winner of the Music Generation South Dublin contribution to The Annette Halpin Memorial Award for Young Musicians was officially announced last week. Amy Costello was awarded €1000 to learn piano and sight read music which will assist her classical singing career.
