Creative Places: MacUiliam & NOISE Music Cruinniú na nÓg 2024

On June 15th 2024  young DJs from the MacUilliam estate will be supported by a NOISE DJ Mentor, giving them an opportunity to test their new skills. The aim is to give the young residents the opportunity to partake in street arts workshops, explore dance skills and music in a hip hop aesthetic.

Street Arts academy with Creative Places MacUilliam are running a series of workshops in the lead up to Cruinniú na nÓg 2024. These workshops will be an introduction to street dance and graffiti art.

And on the 15th June - 'Cruinniú na nÓg' : Graffiti works created in the workshops will be displayed in the basketball courts on the 15th, and Young DJ’s from Mac Uíllíam Estate will provide the music supported by a NOISE DJ mentor. Our young DJ's will have an opportunity to test their new skills. Young dancers will share their dance routine from workshops. Street Arts Academy performers from local primary school ‘Scoil Aoife’ will perform on the day too.
