TYF Win Excellence Award

In November 2011, Tallaght Young Filmmakers joined South Dublin County Council's Arts Office in accepting the Chambers Ireland, Excellence in Local Government, Sustaining the Arts. The Award, presented by Mayor Catriona Jones, acknowledges the work that TYF does in connecting with the wider community. The group not only provides support to young filmmaking groups in the County through mentoring, but also works with professional filmmakers, gaining work experience in the film industry while providing valuable skills.
