Talaght Young Filmmakers Win Two Awards at the Fresh Film Festival
Tallaght Young Filmmakers won two awards at this years Fresh Film Festival. Their short documentary Bad Buzz, a candid talk with teenagers about their drug use won the RTE best documentary award.
Their short film, 716, where a woman is stuck in a never ending narcissistic loop,was highly commended and has also been selected for screening at the four rivers film festival in Croatia and the UP to 21 film festival in Poland.
Fresh Film festival is a nationwide film festival with over 500 entries, so for the group to win two awards is a huge achievement.
For 716 to be screened internationally is a huge achievement and follows in the footsteps of many of the groups previous efforts.
