Sarah Deegan on The Big Picture TV

Originally from Castlebar, Co. Mayo, 19 year old singer-songwriter Sarah Deegan now lives in Dublin City and is actively gigging as the front woman of The Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra as well as an acoustic solo act. Taking lyrical inspiration from personal experience, she weaves beautiful melodies around intricate guitar playing, using her haunting vocal to invoke an emotional response from the listener.

While studying Songwriting in BIMM Dublin, she spends most of her time rehearsing with four-piece indie rock band The Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra, who are currently gigging in venues such as Fibber Magees, Roisin Dubh and Brewery Corner, while recording demos and planning their first release.

Sarah performed her song "Blue" for us in RUA RED Arts Centre, Tallaght.
