Learn about Creative Campus 2013
Creative Campus first took place in 2011 with our partner organisation Tallaght Community Arts. We took a break in 2012 because we were busy talking with NCAD about how to make the programme bigger and better! Learn more about Creative Campus 2013
So, from January – May 2013, third level students from NCAD who are studying across digital media, fine art and sculpture are being mentored by Artist / Project Manager Chloe Brennan and Artist / Curator Siobhan Carroll to create work for exhibition in a retail unit in the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght.
The project also engages with second level students from schools throughout South Dublin County. It is curated by artist Siobhan Carroll with artist Chloe Brenan as project manager.
The artwork they will create is inspired by Tallaght’s cultural, historical and industrial stories. The Creative Campus Team openly welcomes and encourages the engagement of the public throughout the duration of the project. So, stop by and visit them at The Square!
Creative Campus is an initiative of Tallaght Community Arts and NOISE Dublin, the Youth Arts Programme of South Dublin County Council’s Arts Office, in partnership with the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) with the generous support of The Square Shopping Centre, Tallaght.
Creative Campus 2013 is supported by South Dublin County Council, Tallaght Community Arts, National College of Art and Design and The Square.
