Her Mother’s Daughters, a dance film about sisters

Screened at NOISEmoves 2011, Her Mother’s Daughters (2010) explores the inheritance of gesture and the creative power of memory between sisters. This film has won several awards including Fastnet Films Festival, May 2010 WINNER: Best Dance/Experimental Film, Best Cinematography, Joint Best of Cork Kinsale Arts Week, July 2010 Cultural Trust ‘Summer Sensational’ Programme, July 8th 2010. The film most recently featured at the Dance on Camera Festival, New York, January 25th – Feb 1st 2011 and Loikka Dance Film Festival, Helsinki, Finland, March 2011.
