Cruinniú na nÓg 2020 The Big Picture TV
The Big Picture TV is a YouTube Channel featuring interviews and performances with performers in music, theatre and dance.
The programme has been running annually since the summer of 2014. The participants are young people aged 14 – 18 years from South Dublin, who are signed up by Foroige Tallaght. They work under the guidance of television producer Elton Mullally of Southpaw Pictures and Gerry Horan of CONTACT Studio, who initiated the programme, to film and edit the videos that are featured on the channel.
Filmed in and around The Big Picture Youth Café, County Hall, Tallaght Library, IT Tallaght, The Civic Theatre, and RUA RED South Dublin Arts Centre in Tallaght, this programme is run by CONTACT Studio in partnership with Foroige. The Big Picture TV is a South Dublin County Arts Office Initiative.
