Cruinniú na nÓg 2020 Play Apart

An online theatre production created with and for young people, on the theme of connection. ‘Play Apart’ involves short scripts being submitted by young people aged 4-18, and being rehearsed and performed by our ensemble of actors entirely on an online platform!

Freshly Ground Theatre will publish scripts written by young people between the ages of 4 and 18 who answered their open call for Cruinniú na nÓg 2020!
A selection of these scripts will be turned into full short productions and performed by a cast of actors using Zoom. These full productions will be broadcast on the day of Cruinniú na nÓg, 13th June 2020 and available for all your family and friends to watch on Cruinniu TV South Dublin: Create, Make, Participate.

This project is a theatre collaboration between young people in our community and professional artists within our company. The aim is to create a series of tiny plays that will be staged on an online platform via Zoom. The entire project will be completed in adherance with social distancing with all participants working and creating from the safety of their own home.
