Christian Tierney…a filmmaker to keep your eye on

NOISE Flicks Judges were amazed by the standard of films submitted to the 2013 festival. One filmmaker stood out. Christian Tierney is no stranger to NOISE Flicks. We've seen and been impressed by his work before. Last year his film The Dump was shortlisted for the 2012 festival. It was then that we at NOISE got a glimpse of the skill he has as a filmmaker.

For 2013, Christian submitted a number of beautifully shot music videos. One in particular, Hijack, is a video of The Fresh Kills' song of the same name and won the Award for Best Overall Film by an Individual Filmmaker for NOISE Flicks 2013. We think we'll be seeing a lot more of Christian's work. It's worth checking out his  youtube page to see just how much he's been up to. It's also a great reminder that film isn't just about a script---music videos present a whole other way into the film industry.
